Marcelo is a beautiful book - I loved it!

It reminds me of Jan Pienkowski's beautiful illustrations in Joan Aiken's 'Necklace of Raindrops' - a book that constantly inspires me as do Jan's silhouette-style pictures. In fact it was Jan's pictures along with the cover of Nette Hilton's 'The Innocents' that I gave to the cover designer of Angel Creek and said 'Something like this, please!'
